People often say that pets leave paw prints on your heart, and we totally agree. But you can also use them to create unique paw print keepsakes, memorials and gifts to remember them for years to come.
Whether you want a piece of stunning jewellery or a pet memorial tattoo, you can use a digital version of the paw print to create this. We always ask our clients whether they would like a paw print taken as it obviously cannot be done once your pet has been cremated, and there are so many amazing things you can do with it.
When it comes to obtaining a paw print from your pet you have two options. If your pet is being cremated at Dignity we can take a paw print for you. This will be provided in a card frame and also emailed to you, plus we’ll keep a copy on file in case you want to use it in the future. Alternatively, you can take a paw print yourself and send it to us.
To take the paw print we use special wipes and paper so there’s no messy ink involved. You can buy a paw print kit to use at home here.
We offer three types of digital paw print; original, tidy up or solid. The original is just as it sounds – a scan of the original paw print. We can also clean the image up for you, or make it a completely solid paw print. You will need the solid version for some memorial options.
This is one of our most popular paw print keepsake options. The beautiful silver jewellery is handcrafted by a local company right here in Hampshire. You can choose from pendants, charms, cufflinks and keyrings, each with your pet’s unique paw print engraved. You can even add a name or short message to personalise the piece further.
Our range of pet memorial stones is really popular. They can be used as a small reminder inside your home, or to create a tribute area in the garden. Your pet’s paw print can be added to a range of items including the Memorial Pebble, Free Standing Slate, Hanging Slate Sign, and Granite Gravestone.
These items are lovely reminders of your pet, but they also make fantastic gifts for pet lovers. Your pet does not need to have passed away to order these items. You could even create your own unique paw print keepsakes – we’d love to see pictures if you do!
