Description
This honey comes from local Hampshire bees via Mrs B’s Bees, a small family bee farming business who describe themselves as “beekeepers first and foremost”. This beautiful local honey is available in 227g or 454g jars.
Mrs B’s Bees only harvest honey which is surplus to the bees’ requirements, leaving a whole box of their honey on each of the colonies throughout the year and only harvesting honey from the extra boxes that they fill when they have a good flow of nectar.
Each site is chosen for its unique location – some are wildflower meadows, sweet chestnut woodlands, orchards or lime avenues. This gives each batch of honey a unique local flavour. We even host some of these bees here at Dignity!
