What is included
The cost includes the entombment of ashes into the niche, a 12 x 12” slate memorial (with motif or a picture of your pet lasered onto the marker for an additional charge of £25 and wording of your choice) that will be affixed to the wall to entomb the niche and exclusive rights to use the niche for 5 years (this time period can be extended for an extra fee, see costs below).
The cost also includes the cost of a Polished Metal Urn as ashes must be placed into the niche in an airtight plastic bag within an approved container.
Entombing the ashes
It may be possible to entomb more than one set of ashes in the niche subject to their size and the vessel used to contain them. All ashes must be in an airtight plastic bag within a suitable container. When more than one set of ashes are entering a single niche at the same time you can choose to have one shared memorial.
Please ask us for more information if you would like to do this. If you remove your ashes/marker(s) earlier than the Memorial Licence period then we regret that we cannot refund all or part of your Memorial Licence Fee included as part of the Entry Fee.

*Subject to space, one or more sets of ashes can be placed in the same Memorial Niche. Unfortunately, we cannot alter the slate once made. If you wish to add extra names then you would need to pay for a new slate.
Payment Discount & Reservation Option
If you choose to fully prepay the entry fee then the cost will be reduced as detailed above. This payment is non-refundable but allows you to reserve a spot in advance free of charge. Alternatively, you can choose to pay at the time of needing the service or pay in advance and spread the cost over time using our pre-payment plan.
These payments are refundable and mean you will pay the standard entry fee but cannot reserve your spot in advance. If you would prefer not to pay for the service in advance then you can still reserve a spot by paying a non-refundable deposit.
A license for the first five years is included in the price of the entry fee and then costs an additional £25 each year. You can choose to pay for this in 10, 15 or 20 year increments.
Charity memorial plaque
Create a lasting tribute to your pet with a charity wall plaque in our Remembrance Walkway. The iconic Remembrance Walkway links the new pet crematorium building with the historic Victorian Brick Kiln and is surrounded by the beautiful Gardens of Remembrance at Dignity Pet Crematorium. Our Charity Wall Plaques enable you to create a special tribute to your much loved pet and help the fledgling charity Hounds for Heroes by including an optional donation to support their work.
You can choose from a selection of several different designs of both Single and Double Wall Slate Plaques and prices starting from £79. You can even choose to have additional plaques made for home use at the same time and receive a 10% discount on any extra plaques you purchase. All plaques include a 5 year Memorial Licence as standard.
You can renew your Licence every 5 years or opt to extend it to run for up to 20 years if you prefer.
