Not cooking this goose

CHRISTMAS is a time for miracles and this was certainly the case for one lucky goose, who sought shelter in a pet crematorium in Hook.
Customers at the Dignity pet crematorium on Odiham road, were surprised to see staff coaxing a goose into the building on Thursday 17, after it escaped from a nearby garden. Staff had found the bird, an American Buff goose, wandering along Odiham Road in between Odiham and Hartley Wintney, and taken it in for its own safety.
Kevin Spurgeon, who helps run Dignity, said that despite the location the goose was lucky to have fallen into safe hands. He said: "Luckily for the goose it didn't know that it had wandered into a pet crematorium and I'm a vegetarian so had no ulterior motives for keeping it. I think we've cremated almost every pet you can think of except a goose, so it therefore seems rather ironic that a live one should choose to escape to a pet crematorium in its bid for freedom." The goose, which has since been named "Buffy", is currently being looked after by Winchfield Parish Council chairman, Andrew Renshaw

RIP Endal March 2009
We were all deeply saddened when Allen Parton, owner of world famous assistance dog Endal, chose to use our services when the time came to say goodbye to Endal in March 2009. Endal won countless awards and was voted Dog of the Millennium for his devotion to wheelchair-bound Allen who was seriously injured while serving in the Gulf War.

RIP Timothy
We were very sad when Timothy, our 3 legged cat and unofficial member of the team had to be put to sleep in October 2008. He was loved by all who knew him—especially the many clients whom he would come up to for some fuss (when he wasn’t stealing food or sneaking into their cars!).
He will be sorely missed by us all.
