We have a variety of Options for you to choose from and can help personalise our Service to suit your needs. Once you have decided what you would like for your pet’s ashes you can telephone us to talk through everything. We can then arrange the return of your pet’s ashes to you.

Our promise to you
Whilst your pet is in our care we promise that they will be handled gently and carefully by us at all times. They will be placed into a Dignity Pet Bed™ by us and will be treated with the respect they deserve whether we collect them from your home or veterinary practice.
Using Dignity when you live some distance away from us
If you do not live near to us we recommend you bring your pet to us and use our Immediate Cremation Service (detailed below). This not only means that your pet is looked after the same day allowing you to take their ashes home with you, but also keeps the total cost of the service lower as collection / return charges can significantly increase the overall cost depending on where you live. Please contact us if you would like us to provide you with a quotation.
Collection Service
We can collect your pet from your home or veterinary surgery in a bespoke pet hearse. Our service is responsive, meaning that we will normally collect your pet the same working day depending on what time we are contacted. We do not carry out weekly collections in a lorry or van. We prefer 24 hours notice whenever possible, all we need is a telephone call from you to make the arrangements.
When your pet arrives at Dignity we will give you a courtesy call to say that they are safely with us. You can either explain what you would like for your pet at that time or call us back when you are ready to discuss your requirements.
Bringing your pet to us
If you decide to bring your pet to us you are able to say a final goodbye to them in the privacy of our Farewell Room™. Peaceful music is played in the background while you have some time alone with them. You can place some flowers or a card with your pet or have a cutting of their fur taken if you wish.
You will need to make an appointment prior to coming to Dignity Pet Crematorium.
Additional Services
Immediate Cremation Service™: Your pet is prioritised and will be cremated immediately. If you wish you can stay in the local area whilst your pet’s individual cremation takes place and can return to collect their ashes later the same day (normally within 2 to 3 hours). There is an additional charge for this service.
Same Day Cremation Service™: Your pet will be prioritised, ensuring that you can have their ashes back within 24 hours. You must request this service in advance or when we make the courtesy call to you. There is an additional charge for this service.
Certificate of Authenticity: For owners wishing to take their pet’s ashes overseas we are able to provide a certificate of authenticity for you to give to customs officials if required. There is a small cover charge for this service.
Insurance letter: Some pet insurance policies allow you to claim back some of the costs of our service. For a small fee we can provide you with a letter to your insurer upon request.
Pre Payment Plan: The cost of our service can be paid in advance of you needing us. A plan can be set up for a specific pet or ongoing payments can be made to build up funds for several family pets. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will confirm the price of the Service that is chosen by you. You can then either pay the total amount in one payment or set up a Standing Order to spread the cost over time. If you change your mind then we will refund you all your money minus a small administration fee. If you would like more information then please do not hesitate to contact us.
Exhumation Service
If you are moving home and have a much loved pet buried in your garden that you do not want to leave behind then we are able to carry out an exhumation for you. Please contact us for more details of this Service.
