Sometimes it helps to be able to put a name to a face – especially if you only get to speak to us on the phone.
Barry & Carole (Mum and Dad)
Barry & Carole founded Dignity in 1992 and still take an active part in the day to day running of the Service. They currently have 2 dogs (Paddy & Michelob) and 2 cats [Poppy & Timothy "3" (who is three legged!).
Kevin
Kevin is Barry & Carole’s son. He began working at Dignity Pet Crematorium in 2001 and can be found helping out pretty much everywhere – seeing clients, in the office answering the phone, on the engraving machine, looking after the cremations or driving one of the Pet Hearses. Kevin, his wife Estelle and sons South & Lincoln, have 1 dog (Giro), 1 cat (Louis) and 1 rabbit (Murray). Sadly during 2007 they lost 3 pets: Mikey, Kenny & Lulu.
Debbie
Debbie is Barry & Carole’s daughter. Although not full time, she is involved in the day to day running of the office. Debbie (& Family) have a cat called Sox.
Louise
Louise is Debbie’s daughter. Louise works at Dignity full time helping in the office and with clients as well as driving one of the Pet Hearses and carrying out cremations. She has a foundation degree in animal management and went to South Africa in 2006 for a month, to help look after vervet monkeys at a wildlife sanctuary.
The Rest of the Team
Sharon
Sharon has been a friend of Barry & Carole’s three daughters since school (some time ago!). She helps at the crematorium in the office, looking after clients & homing pets ashes as well as driving the Pet Hearse one day a week. Sharon has two dogs (Titch & Teddy) and teaches horse riding locally.
Paul
Paul has worked locally for several years. He now helps us two or three times a week by collecting pets in the Hearse. He has a rescue dog called Sam.
Rita
Rita has helped at Dignity on a part time basis since June 2000. She looks after clients both in person at Dignity and over the telephone as well as homing pet’s ashes into the caskets chosen for them by their owners. At home, Rita has 5 Irish Setters (Caitrin, Shamrock, Rafferty, Brighid & Rogan) as well as Tom (her husband!)
Brenda
Brenda has helped at Dignity on a part time basis since 2002, job sharing with Rita.  She is a cat lover and has known the family for many years.
Sue
Sue joined us in August 2004. She has been involved in both horse and small animal rescue for many years. Like Rita and Brenda, Sue looks after clients both in person at Dignity and over the telephone as well as homing pet’s ashes into our caskets. Sue currently has 3 ponies and 2 horses (she shares one with her daughter!).
Jaime
Jaime looks after the individual cremations along with Kevin. He joined Dignity in 2005 and lives with his family locally. He is originally from Portugal although he now calls England home!
Michelle
Michelle helps at the crematorium in the office, looking after clients & homing pet’s ashes in the woodland area as well as helping Debbie with the Book Keeping. She has a cat called Reggie.
